(Screenshot) Developer Techland has announced a new patch for Dying Light 1 that brings some next-gen enhancements to the Playstation 5 and Playstation 4 Pro. In the meantime, the PS5 patch should give Dying Light owners another reason to boot up the 2015 title. Dying Light 1 gets next-gen patch for PlayStation. We do not doubt that Techland will eventually come around to fixing the said issues, but we're hoping that the studio takes care of the problems sooner rather than later. At the moment the Polish studio still has a handful of bugs to squash in Dying Light 2 along with a Nintendo Switch port coming later this year. Ultimately, it's nice to see that Techland is still supporting Dying Light after all these years, and this should bode well for Dying Light 2.

Keep in mind that this is technically only a patch for the PS4 and Xbox One version of Dying Light, it is not a native PS5 or Xbox Series S/X app, which would be a more labor-intensive process. In addition, the patch also helps improve performance on the PS4 Pro.
